This is the perfect place to revive yourself after a hard day attacking the culture, shops and restaurants of Durham. There's a Jacuzzi bath to massage away the effects of your journey: you can even listen to the built-in radio, and enjoy the underwater light show while your eyes are still open. It's thoughtfully positioned so that there's somewhere to place your drink, and has a hand-held shower as part of the gleaming chrome plumbing.

There are two of them, each with the latest in illuminated taps, which change colour with the water temperature... You can pamper yourself with the exclusive toiletries provided, get dry again using the giant plush towels, and if you can't be bothered to get dressed, wrap yourself in a cosy bathrobe.
